The history of the house
Den Namen Kuća Stipo hat das Haus, da der ehemaligen Eigentümer Stipo ( Kurzform von Stephan) hieß und der neuen Besitzer auch Stephan heißt. Kuća bedeutet auf kroatisch Haus. Gekauft haben wir die Kuća im Jahr 2022, damals noch als leerstehendes und zurückgelassenes Haus. In den letzten Jahren haben wir zuerst das untere Apartment zum Oceanside und anschließend des obere zum Seaview Apartment umgebaut. Im Juni 2025 ist das letzte Apartment fertig. Kuća ( Kutscha ausgesprochen) bedeutet auf kroatisch "Haus". Gekauft haben wir die Kuća im Jahr 2022, damals noch als leerstehendes und zurückgelassenes Haus. In den letzten Jahren haben wir zuerst das untere Apartment zum Oceanside und anschließend des obere zum Seaview Apartment umgebaut. Im Juni 2025 ist das letzte Apartment fertig. The House Before Renovation (2022)
In June 2022, we visited Croatia for the first time and discovered the sunny island of Čiovo. From a neighboring property, we immediately noticed this long-abandoned house with direct access to the sea—it was love at first sight. By December 2022, we already had the keys to our future dream house.
The Apartments are finished!
We are currently working on the third and final apartment, the Terrace Apartment, which will accommodate up to six people! Stay tuned!
